The plan also shows which items will be stored in the shelter, or emergency area and which will be gathered when the emergency occurs. Family immunization records can be entered, along with first aid and other survival courses completed. The reverse side of the plan gives recommendations for shelter construction or for Improving present home structures. The householder can compare his present facilities with shelter protection standards of common building .materials and decide what has to be done to improve his chances of survival.
