Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Burford spent last week-end visiting relatives in Amherst. Herbert Foster returned to his home on Monday from the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He was accompanied home by his two sons Charles and Gavor Foster.

Mrs. Mary Krause and son Walter and Miss Lottie Printz were Sunday callers of Mrs. John R. Moore. Mrs. Barbara Gentry is in Blacksburg this week attending the annual meetings held at V.P.I. of the Federation of Home Demonstration Clubs of whicfT she is State Secretary. Her daughter Mrs. T.M. Scott of Lexington, Ky. will also be at V.P.I. for a few days this week. Mrs. Clyde Lillard was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayland in Sperryville.

Darryl Corbin of Annandale was the week-end guest of his grandmother Mrs^Herbert Foster. Mrs. James M. Settle returned last week after spending some time in the home of Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Bowersett in Silver Spring, Maryland while the Bowersett’s were on vacation. Mrs. Clyde Lillard, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lillard, Jr. and Miss Annie Boyd were in Charles Town, W. Va. on Friday. Miss Boyd’s niece Miss Rebecca Plotner returned home with her for a week’6 visit. Mrs. G. W. Smith, Charlie Smith, Mrs. Frank Spalding Mrs. M. R. Bradford and Mra Paul Miller attended the final performance of “The Moon is Blue* Saturday night at the Wayside Theatre in Middleton. Alvin Gentry, formerly of Flint Hill, now of LaVale, Md and Mrs. Gentry attended the Republican Convention in San Francisco.
