—There was a large crowd at the birthday dinner which was given for Mrs. Myrtle North by her nieces and nephews at the Fire Hall on Sunday afternoon. Ermand Morris and Mrs. Ada North are on the sick list at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North and Aubrey Joe of Huntly, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Williams, Michael Ray Williams and Michael North were visitors last Tuesday in Hagerstown, Md. Mr, and Mrs, Horace Dulin, the Misses Linda Dulin and Barbara Pullen were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Buster Jenkins near the Beef Cattle Research Station. Fred Harris, Jr., daughter Tamara, Mrs. Pearl Mills and Stevie North visited Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Williams and family and Mr. and Mrs. Sam North Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. George Williams’ guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brady and family of Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Minnis of Culpeper on July 18 when they visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank White in Fairfax County. Mr. White bought the oldDr.Quaintance farm on the Reva Road near here. Recent Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gaines were their sons and families, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gaines and daughters Mary Lou and Vickie of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Gaines of F. T. Valley. Mr. and Mrs. C. Ml Gaines and children spent July 19 visiting Mrs. Gaines’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Campbell in Woodville. Mrs. Hazel Barfield was a Monday overnight guest of her son and family Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield of Berryville. While Mrs. Barfield was away Mrs. Claude Gaines stayed with Miss Alice Hitt. Mrs. Iris Brooke, Mrs. Audrey Thornhill and Mrs. Vinda Kilby spent Wednesday visiting Mrs. Anne Kilby of Culpeper.
