Mrs. W. H. Cordle and her sister-in-law, Mrs. William H. Morrow arrived Monday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pillar. On their return to Norfolk they will be accompanied by David and Louis Cordle who have been guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pillar for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cornell of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at Boulder Lodge their summer cottage on Hazel River. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. George Newman in Roanoke. Walter Goodman of Richmond was a weekend guest of his aunt, Mrs. Perle Coffey who had as dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Melville Rector of Marshall. Eleanor Rector was an overnight guest on Friday of Mrs. Coffey. Miss Carolyn Brown and Mike Brown of Washington, D. C. spent tile weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Brown. Mrs. Roy Reeve and her daughters, Mrs. C. H. Brown and Mrs. Preston Leake, Jr. are visiting relatives in Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. John Coates and family of Fork Union spent the weekend with Mrs. Coates’ parents, Mj. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers. Joe Henry and Buddy Aylor of Arlington were, guests of their parents Mr. and Mrs. H, H. Aylor. Mrs. Aylor was also here for a weekend visit with her mother, Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mrs. F. D. Coffey and son Frank were guests Sunday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rob ert Nethers at Flint Hill. Bill Dennis and his sister Debbie Dennis of Jackson, S. C. were guests recently of the Coffeya Mr. and Mrs; David Chapman, Jr. of Richmond spent Saturday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Chapman.
