The W.S.C.S. of the Flint Hill Methodist Church met Thursday at the home of Mrs.Emory Russell who conducted a program on the subject of 'Improving Your Church”. Other members present were Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Mrs. L. B. Burford, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. James Grimmer and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Griffith and daughter Peggy of Front Royal were Saturday callers of Mrs. JohnR. Moore. Mr. P. D. Barham of Portsmouth arrived last week for a two weeks’ visit with his sonin-law and daughter the Rev. and Mrs. James Grimmer. Other guests last week were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Nalls, Glenda Nalls and Steve Bishop also of Portsmouth.
