Know how to peel tomatoes quickly and easily? Try any one of these three methods. They make the job easy. Stroke the skin with the dull edge of a knife blade until the skin is loosened, or Dip the tomato in boiling water for 1 minute, then cool at once in cold water, or Run fork into tomato and rotate it over heat of cooking unit until the skin is tight and shiny. Cool at once in cold water. The peel will come off easily after any one of these treatments.
Quick Valet To remove wear wrinkles from skirts, suits, jackets or dresses, place in dryer with two damp turkish towels and tumble on regular heat setting for five to ten minutes. Remove clothes from dryer immediately and place on hanger. Wrinkles will disappear. Painting Tips Follow the sun when you paint your house, say specialists in the Forest Products Laboratory of USDA’s Forest Service. Paint the north side early in the morning, the east side late in the morning, the south well after noon and the west side during the late after noon.
