George H. Davis III was elected to fill the unexpired term of secretary for the Rappahannock Jaycees at their August meeting held Monday night at Hampton Inn. Larry Bolyard resigned the office since he is moving from the county. Among other business discussed at the Jaycees meeting 1 was the establishment of a i county dump, which is badly needed here, and plans were formulated for participation in Little League baseball. Two new members were accepted into the organization. They were George Wharton and James Preston Leake. The group ordered flowers sent to fellow member Terry Davis who is a patient in University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
