Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hitt and Miss Barba Howell of Rixeyvllle were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Week-end guests were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Butler and son Mike of Arlington and Miss Joyce Ann Bible of West Virginia. Additional guests for Sunday dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hawkins, Linda and Sharon Hawkins and Mrs. Earths Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. R, F. Curry and son Keith of Alexandria were guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Settle. Sunday guests of the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Brewlngton of Springfield, Mr. and Mrs, George Thompson of Ark ington. Mr; and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Tommy and Joanne Johnson, Mrs. J. H. Johnson and Miss Nellie Johnson were Friday visitors in Winchester. Mrs. P. M. Browning and ■ James Coffey were visitors of W. L. Yancey recently. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burgess and daughter Miss Mary Catherine Burgess of Richmond were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson. Miss Burgess stayed on for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson returned Saturday from a visit to Norfolk. John Quaintance of Arlington fcpent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mr8. Jesse Hawkins were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan and son Bill of Arlington. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins entertained the following guests, honoring the 8th birthday of their grandson Bill Duncan: Wanda and Jeff Hawkins and Marilyn Klbler of Culpeper, David, C. G. and Melanie Thornhill, David and Debbie Thornhill of Manassas. Mrs. George Butler and Mrs. Cary Thornhill entertained Ms and Mrs. Stant Weaver of Washington on Sunday, the occasion being their thirty first wedding anniversary. They attended the Luray Lutheran Church and later visited the Luray Caverns.
