Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie J. Hitt of Amissville celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday with a reception at their home. They were married August 5, 1914 in Warren ton. Mrs. Hitt is the former Susie Hitt, daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Albert Hitt. Present for the party were their six children, Mrs.Virgie Burke of Vienna; Mrs.Clarence Payne, Marshall; Mrs. Bonner Fishback, Warrenton; ' Mrs. Carl Campbell and Mrs Niel Weibel, Manassas; and, Eddie R. Hitt, Amissville,with their families. Mr. and Mrs. Hitt have twenty-one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Among friends calling were Misses Carrie, Julia and Minnie Hitt, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham, Mrs. Pauline Latham and Mrs. Bertha Riley.
