S. to collect income taxes; and Whereas, the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau believes that a reasonable income tax, (much smaller than that now imposed) is a fair method of taxation, Therefore, Be It Resolved; that the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau advise the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation through this resolution that it opposes the Liberty Amendment, and Be It Further Resolved: That the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau delegates to the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation Resolutions Committee meeting and our delegates to the Annual State Convention vote again81 the Liberty Amendment. (On motion it was voted that if the amendment as approved by the Resolutions Committee includes a section about eliminiation of government from private business activities that the delegates to the 1964 State Convention be instruced to vote against it.) (5) State Right to Apportion its Area and Population for Voting Areas for all State Officers.
