(8) Local Telephone Service Be It Resolved: That the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau express Its great appreciation for the efforts being made by the Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company of Virginia in extending the services in the Sperryville area and we appreciate the plans that are being made towards putting this area on the Culpeper Exchange and extending the services and we hope that these plans will pro gress rapidly, and Be It Further Resolved: That the Virginia Telephone and Telegraph Company of Front Royal be advised of the efforts being made by the Chesa peake & Potomac Telephone Cohfipany to put the Sperryville area on the Culpeper exchange thereby giving the Sperryville telephone subscribers access to a reasonably large town in this area and also make it possible for these subscribers to conduct their business inthecoun ty; it is requested that the Virginia Telephone Company make similar arrangements for the area in this county which is serviced by its lines so that they may call without toll charge to Front Royal which is the nearest town (the distance from Flint Hill to Front Royal being about 12 miles) in order that they may conduct their business with much less expense than at present.

(9) Secondary Road Speeds

Resolved, that the Virginia Farm Bureau request the State Highway Department to indicate on Route signs on secondary roads *Saf e Speed Limits".

(10) School Buses

Resolved that when as many as five (5) cars are following a school bus on its route and the bus has to stop to take on and discharge passengers, the bus be required to pull over and let the cars pass.
