Mrs.Ruth Merrill, 62, wife of Leslie V. Merrill of Washington, Vfl., died Saturday October 31, 1964 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton where she had been a patient for several days.following an illness of two and a half years. Daughter of the late George M. Nethers and the late Rosa Dulaney Burton, she was a native of Madison County. She was a Christian Scientist. In addidtion to her husband she is survived by one daughty, Mrs. Leon Bailey, two grandsons, Stephen Bailey and Mark Bailey, and one granddaughter, Nina Bailey, all of Washington, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Walter Taylor of Winston' and one brother, Cecil Nethers" of Oldtown, Md.; also a halfsister, Miss Lottie Burton, Washington, Va. \ A graveside funeral service was held Monday, November 2 « 11:00 a.m. in Washington Masonic Cemetery, the Rev.
