Arts and Crafts

The Arts and Crafts show was a big success thanks not only to the Arts and Crafts Committee, but to those who exhibited, those who volunteered their time and services, and those who attended as well. It was truly a county affair. We had over 50 exhibitors with a wide variety of items, and around 400visitors attending the show during the week. The County Home Demonstration Clubs will have their Achievement Day Program at 3;30 p.m. on Saturday, November 14 at the Episcopal Parish Hall in Washington. Three of the clubs will nave this program, and the other three will have club choice programs. The Amissville club met on Monday night, November 2 at the Amissville fire hall. Fifteen members were present, and the program was on ideas for gift wrapping.
