Sp/4 Nelson Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Conner Jenkins, stationed at Fort Carson, Cola arrived home Saturday for a week with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Atkins, Roger and Sue of Sperryville were Friday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Conner Jenkins. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins and family of Fairfax and Mrs. Venie Jenkins of Culpeper. Mrs. Oscar Cave is nursing Herbert Dodson at his home in Culpeper this week.
Mrs. Maude Racer started work at the Southern Garment Factory on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family of Berryville and the Rev. Paul Davis, Jr. of Lignum were Sunday guests of Mrs. Alice Hitt and Mrs. Hazel Barfield. Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy attended the funeral of Mrs. Lester Jenkins on Sunday.
Mrs. T. J, Dennis and son of Alexandria and her sister Mrs. Walker and son of the Quantico area were Saturday guests of the Rev. W. B. Dennis. On Sunday Mr. Dennis visited H. G. Wayland of Castleton who has been ill.
