The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will hold its annual public hearing on hunting seasons and regulations prior to drafting proposals for the 1965-66 season at their meeting in Richmond March 19. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Conference Room 7 North 2nd Street, and the hear ing of delegations and individuals with suggestions and proposals for Commission consideration will be one of the first items on the agenda. To be determined at this meeting are tentative fall seasons and limits for deer, bea^ turkey, quail, rabbits, squirrels, grouse, raccoons and foxes along with hunting and trapping seasons on other furbearing animals. Also to be considered are any changes in basic hunting and trapping rules as established by the Commission. Season and limits on doves, shorebirds and waterfowl will not be considered at this meeting, but will be established next summer after biological data has been analyzed and a framework formulated by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Any person or delegation wishing to address the Game Commission on the subject of next fall's upland game seasons, limits, and regulations will be heard on March 19.
