An annual Road Hearing will be held at the April meeting of the Supervisors and will be advertised before the meeting. Needed repairs to the court house were discussed and a decision was made to paint the recently vacated offices, fix floors *in jury room, put guttering on courthouse where needed and repair benches out front, repair incinerator and get water out of basement. E. M. Jones was appointed to oversee this work. A contract with Winchester Memorial Hospital was approved.
The Board resolved to ask the boundary committee to expedite proceedings in this case. The Board agreed to request the Commission of Came and Inland Fisheries to have an open season on foxes; closed season on coons, and set the quail season from November 20 to January 1. Current bills were approved for payment and the meeting adjourned.
Ham and Turkey
Supper Scheduled
The Ham and Turkey supper sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club, which will be held Saturday, March 13 at Amissville fire hall, will be cooked and served by the men, with dish washing and cleaning up in the bargain. Proceeds from the supper, $1.50 adults and 75C children, will be used for helping to defray costs of the many community projects sponsored by the Ruritan Club. In addition to the free door prize other prizes consisting of an RCA portable, 19 inch TV and stand, electric pressure cooker, case of motor oil, five gallons of motor oil and others will be given away. Supper will be served from 5 until 9 p.m.
