Mr*. Mabel Reid
Mrs. Mabel Bass Reid of Front Royal, died Sunday. She was 76. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal. The Rev. G. C. Bentley officiated. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. She was born in Warren County a daughter of Foster G. and Laura V. Cooper Bass. She is survived by one daugh ter, Mrs. Dan Price of Front Royal, one brother, Foster G. Bass of Arlington; three sisters, Mrs. Will Marlow and Mrs. Laura B. Marlow, both of Front Royal, andMrs.Theo dore Geupel of San Diego, Calif.; and one grandson. Mrs. Reid was a graduate of Eastern College, Front Royal, and was a teacher in the Warren - Rappahannockpublic schools for a number ofyears. She retired about nine years ago. Active pallbearers were Larry Napier, Wayne Simonpietri, Sam, David Tobin, John W. Price and C. M. Price.
