Feted at Reception
The Womans Missionary Union of Forest Grove Baptist Church honored two of its long time members Sunday with special ceremonies at the church. Miss Mary Bruce and Mrs. Carrie Corbin, who had served as president and treasurer, respectively, for many years, were given pins in appreciation of their long and steadfast devotion to the W. M. U. Mrs. Menefee Utzmade the presentation to Miss Bruce. Mrs. Corbin was unable to attend the meeting. About fifteen members and friends were present. Cake and punch were served. Washington - Flint Hill Hill Baptist Bible School
The summer Bible School of the combined Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches will start June 7 at the Educational Building of the Washington Baptist Church. Hours are from 9 until 12 noon. Topics for the various groups will be as follows: Nursery - Happy Times Together; Beginners - Helping in God’s World; Primary - Wonders in God’s World; Junior - Living for Jesus Everyday; Intermediate - Discovering What God is Like.
