Mrs. Myrtle Bowen
Mrs. Myrtle Bowen, 77, formerly of Amiesville, died May 20, 1965 in an Alexandria, Va. hospital. She was the widow of John William Bowen. A native of Rappahannock County, Mrs. Bowen was the daughter of the late Robert A. Latham and Priscilla Farish Latham. Following the death of her husband in 1958, she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Karl Hickman in Arlington. She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Henderson Clarfe- of Fort Myersj Fl**j two sons, James Robert Bowen of Arlington and William Reginald Bowen, Amissville; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Beulah Rogers of Bethesda, Md. A funeral service was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral chapel, Culpeper, with the Rev. John Hodge and the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
