Commencement exercises at Sperryville Elementary School will be held Wednesday evening, June 2 at the school beginning at 8p.m. Dr, Samuel D. Hill will present certificates of promotion to the seventh grade students. The theme of the program will be “Tickets for Tomorrow," and several members of the class will make talks. Amy Palmer will present piano selections and Terry Russell will sing a sole. The school chorus will also provide .music. Thursday evening, June 3 is the date set for commencement exercises at Washington Elementary School. The program will be held in the school auditorium and will begin at 8 p.m. Irvin Kilby, a member of the Rappahannock School Board, will award certificates to the seventh grade students. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Charles Glaenzer. The theme of the program in which students will participate is “The Rainbow.”
