Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home on Friday night having as guests Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. G. Brown Miller, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. E. N. Montague and Mrs. I. O. Wolf. High score winners were Mrs. Quaintance and Mrs. Miller. Mrs. Schaefer won Bingo.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Y. Burke of Deer Park Heights Maryland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Geneale Lee to Mr. Dale Eric Hornbarger, son of Mr. anc Mrs. Edwin Hornbarger of Rockville, Maryland. Miss Burke is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie M. Burke of Woodville, Virginia.
