Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates of Meadow Green attended a party on Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dohme in Cedarville.
They were Saturday night guests of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Major of Front Royal. Col. and Mrs. Ralph Vernon and daughters of Vienna were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Yates. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart White and daughter of Madison visited Mr. White’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin White on Friday night. Mrs. Milton Sisk spent Tuesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Deal. Mr. Deal is confined to his home by illness. Mrs. Carl McMillen and sons are spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lt Yowell.' Mr®. Gordon Starr and children returned home last week after spending some time with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Yowell. Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Carpenter and children were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Carpenter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Mitchell. Mrs. Festus Hudson, Miss Linda Jones, Mrs. Gilbert Weakley, Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and children Susan and Donnie attended Home Coming services at Oak Grove Methodevelopments,
and give you information on adequate wiring.

The June Program for the Rappahannock home demonstration clubs will be “Combine The New and Old in Home Furnishings." This demonstration will include information on remodel old furniture and use of accessories. The Sperryville Club will receive this program on June 3rd at 8;00 p.m. at Mrs. Allen Stokes’ home. Miss Margaret Flickinger, Home Economist, of Northern Virginia Power Company, will give a leader training meeting on salads on Tuesday, June 1, at 1;30 p.m. at the Flint Hill firehall. Representatives from each home demonstration club are urged to attend this meeting.
