Drop Cookies
It takes only minutes to make six dozen delectable Orange - Black Walnut Drop Cookies. Grease baking sheets and preheat oven to 350°. Cream together Va cup shortening and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in 1 teaspoon grated orange rind. Add 2x/i cups Triplett’s sifted enriched self-rising flour alternately with Vfe cup orange juice, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in >/2 cup chopped black walnuts. Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheets. Bake 12 to 16 imnutes, or until lightly browned.
