Weekend guests of Mrs. Mary Cleverley and Mrs. Ida Trump were Mr. and Mrs. Bloise Trump of Alexandria, Mi6S Nita Morris of Washington, D. C. andMr. andMrs. Warren A. McConchie and sons Richard and Craig of Arlington. Mrs. Trump returned home with the Bloise Trump family on Sunday for a visit of several days. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pittman of Hot Springs, Arkansas are guests this week of Mrs. Pittman’s nephew the Rev. Arnold Sorrells and Mrs. Sorrells. Mr. Pittman is in the real estate business in Hot Springs and Mrs. Pittman is a retired school principal. The W. S. C. S. of Flint Hill M*ethodist Church met Thursday night at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. James Grimmer. Mrs. Grimmer conducted a program on “Evaluating your Society.” Those present were Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Ida Trump, Mrs. Edward Welch, Mrs. W. A. Gentry, Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mrs. M. H. Brady and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller visited Mrs. Thurmond Mitchell Sun# day in Haywood. Mrs. Frank W. Spalding was the weekend guest of Robert L. Massie, Jr. and Mrs. William Hudson in Richmond. David Kendrick of Front Royal spent the weekend with Mr. Spalding. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin and four sons of Annandale wa6 the weekend guest of Mrs. Corbin’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Claud Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster and son Chris, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster and three daughters and Mrs. Ertha Corbin. Mrs. Mary Cleverley will be in Washington, D. C. on Friday to speak on “Retirement Housing” at the preretirement course of the A. I. D. of the State Department. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sothoron of Marriottsville, Md. were visitors Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. Their overnight guests Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and children of Falls Church.
