Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sparks and family have moved back to the J. B. Burke house since it has been restored after being partially destroyed by fire in the spring. Mrs. Reva Hawkins of Washington, D. C. was a Friday over-night guest and spent Saturday visiting her brother and sister-iri-lawMr. and Mrs Carlyle Brown. Mrs. Lucy Thornhill returned home Monday after spending a week visiting Mrs. Kate T. Glover and Mrs. William Morian in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Glover accompanied Mra Thornhill home and will be her guest for several days. Mrs. Tom Thornhill had the misfortune to fall and injure her head on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hash of Boston and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Glascock of Culpeper gave a dinner party for 21 Sunday evening at the Hash home. The occasion was in honor of Mrs. Mabel Yowell of Culpeper and her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs.
were Mr. and Mrs. George Beard and family of Culpeper *4 and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weaver and son Jack Mason of Sperry, ville. Mrs. Dorothy Pierce returned to her work at Newberry’s in Culpeper on Monday after a weekfe vacation. Mrs. Pierce was in Charlottesville Tuesday of last week for a check up at the University of Virginia Hospital.
