Mrs. Anne Kilby of Culpeper spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill and Mrs. Vinda Kilby. Mrs. M. H. Lanham of Washington, D. C. was a guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Cobert Sunday until Thursday when she returned home with Miss Carrie Williams of Washington, D. C. who was a Thursday luncheon guest of theCoberts. Miss Carol Cobert of Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, was an overnight guest last Tuesday of her parents. Starting vacation next Tuesday she will be at home until Saturday when she leaves for her work at Ocean City, Md. for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell B. Archer of “The Highland Farm' near here have moved into another house on the farm that they have recently redecorated.
Mrs. Raymond Moats of Silver Spring, Md. arrived Monday to spend the week with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs George W. Tidier. Miss Iva Buracker of Sperryville was a Saturday evening dinner guest of the Misses Arlene and Peggy Fincham. Robert Fincham of Culpeper was a week-end guest of his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and family. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers of Holly Spring Farm were in Washington, D. C. on Thursday. Mrs. Biggers visited her sister Mrs. Evelyn Holloway while Mr. Biggers attended a special meeting of theLaFayette Chapter of the Masonic Lodge when it entertained Masons from Pennsylvania.
