Amissville Methodists Set
Homecoming - Revival
The Amissville Methodist Church will observe Homecoming on Sunday, September 29, 1968. Former pastors, the Rev. Lyle H. Youell and the Rev. James Harrison will be present for the occasion. Mr. Harrison will conduct the 11:00 a.m. service which will be followed by dinner and a hymn sing. Mr. Youell will participate in the afternoon services.
Revival services will begin Monday night, September 30 and continue through October 4 with the service scheduled for 7:30 p.m. each evening. Speakers for the week include the present pastor, W. A. Layman, who will conduct the service Monday night. 31ie Rev. N. L. Flythe of Culpeper will be the speaker on Tuesday. In charge of the Wednesday evening service will be the Rev. Kent McNish, also of Culpeper and the Rev. Claude Reed of Charlottesville will be heard Thursday. Officiating at the concluding service Friday evening will be the pastor, Mr. Layman.
