Masonic Cemetery for Silas A. Foster, 72, of Washington, Va. who died Thursday, Sept. 19, 1968 in Martinsburg Veterans Hospital. Tlie Rev. James D. Atkins of Washington officiated at the service.
Mr. Foster was a lifelong resident of Washington, a retired farmer.
Survivors include four sons, Warren and Carroll Foster of Washington, Va., William F. and Charlie B. Foster, both of Luray; five daughters, Mrs. Anne Belle Lewis of Front Royal, Mrs. Emma Lowe Devers of Annapolis, Mrs. Maizie Clark of Washington, Va., Mrs. Virginia K. Nicholson and Miss Colbert Foster, both of Baltimore, Md., and a brother, Henry Foster of Catlett. Also 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were C. E. Giles, L. V. Merrill, Clarence Baldwin, Tom Lee, Billy Smoot and Harold B. Estes.
