Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. was hostess to bridge at her home in Sperryville on Friday night. Those playing were Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Cozy Sullivan, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. J. P. Snead, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. Ralph Styer, Mrs. Elmo Flynt and Mrs. J. N. Stent. Prizes were given to Mrs. Snead and Mrs. Estes and bingo to Mrs. Wood. Mrs. Stent of Hong Kong was given the guest prize. Weekend guests of Mrs. W. H. Cordle and sons David and Louis were Mr. and Mrs. William H. Cordle, Jr. and W. H. Cordle III of Hampton.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Murphy of Hempstead, New York spent several days with Mrs. Murphy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Brown Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy were enroute to Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he has accepted a position with the Reynolds Tobacco Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Stonebreaker are receiving congratulations on the birth of a son September 21, 1968 in Warren Memorial Hospital. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Horace Dulin of Chester Gap and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Stonebreaker of Front Royal.
