Mrs. Ruth J. Keyser
Miss Peggy Palmer of Richmond spent Friday night at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer at Scuffle Hill. Mrs. Palmer returned with her daughter on Saturday and spent several days with Mrs. J. F. Luck in Ashland. Mr. Palmer joined hei there on Tuesday and they attended the Virginia State Fail before returning home.
Miss Segar Jones was accompanied to Westhampton College on last Tuesday by her father E. M. Jones. Ned Moffett Jones left Wednesday for V.P.I. accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
On Friday night Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Patzig of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Forward at the Navy Club in Washington, D. C. and attended the Marine Corps Parade at the Washington Marine Barracks.
Miss Annie Cooksey is a patient in the Winchester Memorial Hospital for observation and treatment.
Weekend guests of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser were her grandsons Scott and Joe Keyser of Fairfax. Mr. and Mrs. Keyser, Jr. were Sunday afternoon guests,
Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Kidwell of Flint Hill were Saturday evening guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.
Friday visitors of Edward B. Cary were Mr. and Mrs. Worthy Swartz of Front Royal and Henry C. Gore of Fredericksburg. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Goff of Glen Bumie, Md. were weekend guests of Mr. Cary.
Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis were visitors several days last week of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. David C. Collins in New Carrollton, Md. enroute home after visiting in New York.
J. Stant Weaver returned home Thursday from the Culpeper Memorial Hospital. His son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family of Fairfax and his son John Weaver of Washington, D. C. were weekend guests.

B. B. Mitchell and Clyde Johnson of Culpeper were Tuesday callers of B. M. Miller and W. C. Campbell and other friends in town.
Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. returned to her home Monday from the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Woodward of Amissville and Mrs. B. R. Armel visited the Woodward’s son Rudolph Woodward and family Sunday in Staunton. Mrs. Armel was an overnight guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Woodward in Amissville.
