For Mental Health
If you have not already made your contribution to the Rappahannock County Mental Health Fund there is still time to do so. Checks for donations may be made payable to this fund and sent to Mrs. Charles Swaim, acting treasurer, Flint Hill, Va. A total of 36 area residents have been heard from, but much more financial assistance is needed to insure participation in the mental health clinic in Culpeper.

The position of Mayor for the Town of Washington, Va. is up for grabs this year, as well as that of town treasurer and all five council seats. Filing time came and went and not a single incumbent or hopeful filed for candidacy. The election falls this year on Tuesday, June 9, and ballots, already printed, contain seven blocks followed by empty spaces.
