Library Lines
The first of the Library Information and Entertainment programs was well received by a small but very interested audience. Dr. Raymond B. Allen took us on a flying trip to Tunisia, Egypt, Romania, Yugoslavia, the USSR, and the United Kingdom, and gave us an insight into their current situations in genera), with particular reference to health programs. At the close of his talk and question and answer period he introduced his guest, Mrs. Quincy Wright of Charlottesville, who works in the same field in India. Mrs. Wright added several anecdotes from her experience in that country, which were amusing and informative.

As a result of the interlibrary loan program with the Rappahannock Elementary School, four classes have visited the Library and about 56 new borrowers were welcomed. A dividend of this phase of the project is becoming evident - the children are bringing their parentsand brothers and sisters to the Library also. A pebble thrown into a pondThe
