Lawrence Sanford Conners was a member of the 1970 graduating class of Frederick Military Academy, Portsmouth, Va. Commencement exercises were held May 24 for the 40 graduates. .He was Commander of the Drum & Bugle Corps and was the Battalion Staff Tactical Officer. He served as his company Commander and held the highest rifle score for the school. Larry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners of Woodville and plans to enter Germanna Community College near Orange in the fall.
