Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burk* iccompanied by their son-in-law ind daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Prank Swift of Hopewell left Wednesday t»y plane for El Paso, Texas. During the week there they will ittend the wedding of Frank Carroll Swift, Jr. and Miss Jorene Taylor. Mrs. Paul L. Miller spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Louis Miller, Jr. in New Carrollton, Md. Mrs. Mary Cleverley returned home Wednesday from an eight day visit in Brewster, Cape Cod, Mass. Her cousin Mrs. Lester 0. Watson returned with her for a three day visit. Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark were in Bridgewater Wednesday and were accompanied home by their son, Eddie, who has completed his year at Bridgewater College. Wiley Gentry is a patient in Shawnee Nursing Home in Winchester.
Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Ida Trump were Miss Nita Morris of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Blois Trump and four children Stacy, Craig, Kevin and Robin of Alexandria. On Sunday they were joined by the Edward E. Clark family for a picnic at Fort Valley Picnic Area.
James Vest, Emory Russell, Lynn Atkins and Manuel Pullen of Amissville and James Willis of Sperryville attended the World 600 Auto Races Sunday in Charlotte, N. C.
