Baldwin

A funeral service for George Burk Baldwin, 89, of Boston, Va. was held Sunday from the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.'Joseph J. Baldwin, where he had made his home in recent years. Mr. Baldwin died May 22, 1970 after a brief illness. He was a retired farmer.

The service was conducted by Elder Clarence Frazier and Elder Will Dailey, of the Primitive Baptist Church. Interment was in the Baldwin family cemetery in Reva. | He was the son of the late George and Eliza Elizabeth Dwyer Baldwin of Rappahannock County, but spent most of his early life in Page County.

In addition to Mrs. Joseph Baldwin, he is survived by six other daughters, Mrs. Delphia C. Baldwin of Boston, Mrs. Virgie E. Smeltzer of Front Royal, Mrs. George Clatterbuck and Mrs. Thomas Baldwin, Culpeper, Mrs. Mary F. Welch, Remington and Mrs. Nina (James) Darnell of Luray.
