Trout Stocking
Set June 3
The streams in Rappahannock and Madison counties will be stocked with trout on Wednesday, June 3. Garth Run, Hughes River and Rush River will receive trout this time. The truck should arrive on the Hughes about 12 noon or one o’clock; on the Rush at approximately 2 p.m. The season remains open.
Cheryl Poling Win* In Remington Parade
Miss Cheryl Poling, Honorary Fire Chief of Amissville, placed first in the parade competition Friday evening at Remington. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling. The Flint Hill Rescue Squad was named to first place in the converted ambulance class.
Dr. Bryant to Speak
Dr. James R. Bryant of Richmond will be the speaker at the Washington Baptist Church, Sunday, May 31 at 11 o’clock. Sunday will be designated as “Visitor’s Day” as all are welcome to come and bring a visitor.
