Franklin Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin G. Williams of Amissville, was named outstanding player of the little league baseball team sponsored by Amissville Ruritan Club. He was presented a baseball and a wrist watch by club manager Robert B. Settle at the Ruritan dinner meeting held last Wednesday. Dinner for the 17 little leaguers was provided by the Amissville Homemakers Gub. On behalf of the team, Franklin presented Mr. Settle a token gift, in appreciation for the service rendered the team during the season as its manager.
