Traffic Incidents Under Investigation
A Smith Transfer truck from Staunton struck an Angus cow on Route 522 east of Woodville very early Monday morning. The animal perished and damage to the truck was slight according to investigating officer W. A. Buntin.
On September 19 on Route 617 near Castle ton a 59 Rambler ran off the road into an embankment. Damage was set at $200 by Trooper Buntin whose investigation of he incident continues.
Also on Saturday night, a 1966 Mustang was taken from the lot at Merrill Motor Company at Washington and later was discovered wrecked on the Fodderstack Road where it had apparently skidded into the ditch, llie investigation continues on this by the same officer.
