Kindergarten Patrons Feted With Coffee

Last Thursday at 10:30 in the morning Dr. and Mrs. C. F. Melton entertained at coffee at their home South Ben Venue for parents of students at Caumel Preparatory. The parents were allowed to observe briefly the students at work in the classroom and afforded an opportunity for the parents to meet one another.

Also present were several out of town guests who are specialists in pre-school work. These included Mrs. Dorothy Suddath and Mrs. Helen Shrout of Warrenton and Mrs. Kathryne Owens of Buckingham who is a pre-school teacher and music composer from Julliard, and Mrs. William H. Jennings of Burlington, N.C.

Baptist Church. M. H. Brady, jr., Wallace Russell and Charles Woodzell or Orlean spent several days this week at their camp in Canada. Mrs. Russell was a guest of Mrs. Thelma D. Russell during Mr. Russell’s absence. On Sunday they attended church in Luray and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Waters at the Coach and Cavern Restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wood of Front Royal were Sunday callers of Mrs. Thelma Russell.
