Dr. and Mr*. Clyde F. Melton have established a kindergarten, the Caumel Preparatory School, at their home at Ben Venue and have enrolled sixteen youngsters. Mrs. Melton, a certified teacher, conducts the classes with Dr. Melton acting as the school’s director. The basement of the house has been adequately adapted to a classroom with pleasant surroundings and suitable furnishings. Emphasis is placed on supportive relations and the youngsters should be academically and emotionally equipped for entrance into the first grade.
