Car Kills Deer
A large buek deer was struck and killed last Wednesday night at Scrabble on Route 522 by Marshall Jenkins of Culpeper. Damage to the Jenkins vehicle, a 1969 Ford, was estimated at $250 and a value of $100 was placed on the deer. There was no personal injury, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin who investigated the crash.
A 1969 Cadillac, registered to Leo D. Beaulieu of the Marine Barracks Navy Yard, Portsmouth, was discovered over an embankment on Route 211 Sunday night just east of Panorama. The vehicle was not damaged, and has been stored while investigation continues by Trooper W/A. Buntin.

Plan Christmas Party
The annual Christmas party of the Amissville Homemakers Club is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the educational building of Amissville Baptist Church. The party will feature a covered dish dinner, a Christmas program and exchange of gifts.
