Christmas Book Sale
A Christmas Book Sale will be held at the Rappahannock Library the week of December 1 through 5, 1970. On these dates the Library will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. EVERYDAY. Over 1,000 books will be available. They will range from picture and “talking” books for pre-schoolers to adult fiction and biography; and will include mysteries for adults and for the 8 through teen group, historical novels, cookbooks and how-to-do-it books, Christmas stories, juvenile biography and fiction, black biography and fiction, and the latest best sellers. Both hardback and paperback types will be represented. A DISCOUNT WILL BE OFFERED TO PURCHASERS. Mailing envelopes and labels will be sold for your convenience. If we have a book which you would like to read and it is out when you come to the Library, you may reserve it at that time; or, if you hear or read about a book you’d like to take out, you may call and reserve it by telephone if it is in the Library collection.
