Mrs. Bertha Armel Is a patient in the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones spent several days during the weekend as the guests of Mrs. Jones’ brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Sheffield in Knoxville, Tenn.

Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke on Biufe Ridge Avenue were Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. John C. Moore, III of Fr mt Royal.

The Rev. and Mrs. Park Dickerson and two children Lynn and Ben of Johnson, Vermont arrived Friday to visit Mrs. Dickerson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. at their home on Gay Street.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Thursday dinner guests of Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear at Greenwood.

Guests last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Barberie of Alexandria. Weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carroll, Miss Joan Hylton and Major Jesse Anderson, all of Arlington.

Mrs. Kent Wooifolk was the Sunday overnight guest of her sister, Miss Irene Keyser.

Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland spent the weekend with their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayland at Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Miller and son of Fairfield were Sunday afternoon callers of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Millermead.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller and Mrs. W. C. Campbell were Saturday visitors of Mrs. C. H: White at Linden. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were Sunday supper guests of Mrs. W. C. Campbell.
