In Memonam

In memory of my dear husband Raymond K. Poe who left me one year ago, November 17, I960.

Tho shock I received that day I Still remember well. My heart still aches with loneliness. My eyes shed many a tear. Clod knows how much I miss you. The silent nights are lonely and there is no golden dawn. I must remember you are gone. I must remember in my heart the happiness we knew, and that my only world was one m which I lived with you. I roam the house from room to room; I gaze upon the yard But there is nothing I can do to bring you back to me. I have to tell myself again that you are really gone, but I can only ask God for the strength to carry on for some day 1 will follow you.

Your devoted wife,

Hester Poe 1
