Thanksgiving Day
A Community Thanksgiving Day Service with the Baptist, Episcopal and Methodist churches participating will be held Thursday, November 26 at the Flint Hill Methodist Church at 10 a.m. The Rev. William Harrison, pastor, of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, will be the main speaker. A nursery service will be provided. The collection at this service will be used for needy families in the county for Christmas.

Cancer Clinic in
Culpeper Saturday
A free skin and oral cance clinic is scheduled for Saturday November 21 at the Culpepe United Methodist Church oi Route 29 south of Culpeper. Thi clinic is sponsored by th< Culpeper and Rappahannocl chapters of the American Cance Society and will be open from 1( a.m. until 4 p.m. There is n< charge for examination.
Dr. Peyton Wherry, professo of Dermatology at the University of Virginia medical school, wil conduct the skin examinations The oral cancer examinations wil be handled by the dentists o Culpeper.
The public is urged to atten< this free clinic which, it is hoped will become an annual affair.
