Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association has named VV. H. Lyne of Washington, Va. as president for 1971. Others named are Douglas Martin of Rixeyville, vice-president, and Mrs. Carol Martin of Rixeyville, secretary-treasurer.
Directors elected to serve two-year terms are James A. Compton of Rixeyville, Culpeper County; Richard W. Burke, Woodville, Rappahannock; A. Lawton Blankenbaker of Haywood, Madison County; S. S. Hall of Warrenton, Fauquier; George T. Cowherd, j r., Gordonsville, Orange County.
Other plans made by the group for the coming year include setting the date of April 3 for the Junior Show and Trials. Only Association members 16 years old and younger may participate and may enter two hounds each.
