Mrs. Mary Peachey Lyne, 98, died Thursday, December 31, 1970 at the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. She was the widow of Hiram Oliver Lyne of Orange. She is survived by two sons, William H. Lyne of Washington, Va., and H. Oliver Lyne, Jr. of Newark, Del., and three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Thompson of Charleston, S. C., Mrs. Garrett A. Taylor of Orange and Mrs. Josephine L. Dennis of Richard. Eleven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also "survive.
A graveside service was held at

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
