Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike returned to their home in Gulfport, Miss, after spending the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Freddie. Other houseguests were Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jacobs and son of Warrenton. Monday dinner guests were Mrs. John Updike and son Randall of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Updike and family of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Updike of Virginia Beach. Mpoday night their guests included Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson and family of Winchester and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Good and daughter Karen, Front Royal.
Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Coates and daughters Cassandra and Susan, who spent the Christmas holidays in Fla., arrived home on Thursday.
Members of the family here for Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams, Mrs. Phyllis B. Shirley, Mrs. Jean B. Konek and children and Henry Allen Brown, all of Richmond. Other guests were Bruce Robinson, Wade Wash and son Donnie also of Richmond.
