Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey and family were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ramey of Rivermont Drive and their families.
Mr. and Mrs. Butch Sealock returned to Blacksburg Sunday after spending the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock. Butch is a student at VPI and will begin his student teaching Wednesday at Radford High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Paige Henson of Riverton visited Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock Monday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Goranson returned home Sunday from an eleven day trip to St. Petersburg, FJa. where they spent the holidays with Mr. Goranson’s family.
Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Sam North were Mrs. Rosa Mae Reil and sons of Danville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris, Jr. and Tammy of Haymarket, Mr. and Mrs. Jack North of the Remount Station and Mrs. Pearl Mills and Stevie North of Huntly. Mrs. Annie Frazier is a surgical patient in Warren Memorial Hospital. Visiting her Sunday were her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins and family, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin and Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Williams spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Roger Atkins and daughter in Roanoke. Shirley North recently spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris, Jr. and Tammy in Haymarket. &
Ira Lee Brown
Ira Lee Brown, 57, a native of Rappahannock County, died on December 30, 1970, in Philadelphia, Penna. Funeral services were held in Philadelphia on January 3. Mr. Brown was bom in Amissville, a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Lewis Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Trott Brown, three brothers and five sisters.
