This is remarkable, considering that Mrs. Hale also holds down a job with Prudential Insurance Company and has two lively youngsters, Stephen and his sister Laura, 9, to look after.

Mr. Hale, who is employed by Kraft Foods, is also a big booster of the March of Dimes. “We want to help inform others that with prompt medical attention, children born with defects can often lead normal lives, and even more important, that some birth defects can be prevented,” he stated.

“The RH serum and rubella vaccine (German Measles) are cuttiiig into the number of infants bom every year with significant birth defects in the United States,” continued Mr. Hale. “However, there is still a massive challenge aheqd of us. The greater public support we marshall for this cause, the sooner

gain support for the cause of the March of Dimes will make him very happy. After all, he’s the one who really knows just how important it is to prevent birth defects.”
